Your support in staying at the designated conference hotel helps reduce conference costs and keeps your registration fees lower. SIAM guarantees the hotel a certain number of "room nights" during the conference. If too many attendees stay elsewhere or don't inform the hotel they're with SIAM, we incur penalties. Currently, conference costs exclude meeting room rentals. Failing to meet our room block commitment means we pay for meeting rooms daily and/or pay significant penalties, potentially increasing future registration fees.

Reservations

SIAM is holding a block of rooms at the Hotel Monville. These rooms are being held on a first-come, first-served basis at the following discounted rates. Please be aware the room block fills quickly, so we suggest you make your hotel and travel plans early.

The group rate is guaranteed until 5:00 p.m. local time on the cutoff date or until the room block is full. If rooms are available after the cutoff date, they will be offered at the best available rate.

Reservation Deadline – June 24, 2025 (or until the room block is filled)

Single/Double Room Rate*        $259 CAD per night plus 18.48% tax 
Student Rate                              $219 CAD per night plus 18.48% tax 

Room rates include complimentary internet access. 
All rooms based on availability.
All rates are subject to state and local occupancy taxes.
*An additional fee of $60 per person applies to triple occupancy. 

In the event that you find a lower room rate, please make the reservation at the lower rate and notify SIAM immediately (meetings@siam.org). By doing this you will receive the lower rate and be counted towards the SIAM room block. However, please be aware by booking outside the SIAM room block at a lower rate, you may not receive the same benefits as rooms reserved in the SIAM room block (i.e. complimentary internet access). 

In order to receive the SIAM rate, please make your reservations using the appropriate online reservation link or by calling the hotel directly and identifying yourself as a SIAM attendee:

Do not make your reservation online using the hotel’s general website, as this will not allow you to obtain the SIAM group rate. Be sure to use the online reservation link above if making reservations online. Remember to get your confirmation number!

Reservations are not confirmed until acknowledged in writing by the hotel or verified by phone. Be sure to get a confirmation number from the hotel and be prepared to provide that number to the front desk clerk upon check-in at the hotel.

Cancellations

If you need to change or cancel your reservation, you must contact the hotel prior to 6:00 p.m. on the scheduled arrival date to avoid a cancellation fee. You can contact the hotel at 844-545-2001 (U.S. and Canada) or +1-514-379-2000. Remember to get a cancellation number!

Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is 12:00 p.m.

Early Departure

The hotel may charge an early departure fee if an attendee checks out prior to the original checkout date.  Attendees are responsible for informing the hotel of reservation changes as soon as possible and should confirm their scheduled departure date when checking into the hotel.

Deposit

The Hotel Monville requires a credit card to confirm and guarantee your reservation. The hotel will send out e-mail confirmations upon request.
