Dormitory Housing Information

Single occupancy rooms are $86/nightly plus tax, includes breakfast.
Double occupancy rooms are $58/nightly plus tax, includes breakfast.*

*To be paired with a preferred roommate, both parties must request the other person. If you select a double occupancy room and do not submit a roommate request, University Housing will pair a person with you.

Witte Hall Dormitory
Conveniently located in the southeast area of the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus, participants staying in Witte Hall are within a 14-minute walk to Union South (.6 miles). Witte Hall is also within walking distance to a vibrant shopping and entertainment district and located on the city bus lines.

Complimentary Wi-Fi and wired Internet access is available throughout the facility. Daily breakfast will be provided in the Gordon Dining & Event Center. Guests may utilize the 24-hour tech center, kitchen, and laundry facilities. Each guest room is air conditioned and included single beds, towels, washcloths, soap, a mini-refrigerator, and daily housekeeping services upon request (except Sundays).

This residence hall provides affordable accommodations with shared bathrooms, including private shower areas, on each floor. Take advantage of floor lounges to network with colleagues, including a large first floor lounge with piano and television. The 24-hour desk serves your needs for check-in and check-out and offers a few irons, ironing boards and some recreation equipment during your stay.

SIAM does not share or distribute personal, registration or housing details with any company or person. Third-party solicitation of hotel reservations is not approved by SIAM, and any claim SIAM has provided attendee contact information for solicitation is fraudulent. Reservations offered by unaffiliated organizations may promise lower rates; however, they may be illegitimate, nonexistent, non-refundable, or have unreasonable cancellation or change penalties. If you book your hotel with a third-party provider, SIAM cannot assist you with any problems incurred as a result of booking outside the official SIAM room block. Please be aware of any unauthorized solicitations and report them to meetings@siam.org.

By Air

Attendees should fly into Dane County Regional Airport in Madison making reservations directly with their preferred airline, travel agency or travel website.

Ground Transportation

Public Transportation from Airport
Taxis are available at the airport for transportation to the hotel. Please visit your hotel website to find local directions. Additional ground transportation information is available on the Dane County Regional Airport transportation page.

By Train
Amtrak has a rail station in Madison. Make reservations at Amtrak's website, call (800) USA-RAIL, or contact your travel agency or travel website. Taxis are available at the train station.

Rental Cars
Many major car rental companies have offices inside the airport terminal. You can make your arrangements when you arrive at the airport, or you can make them through your own travel agency or travel website.
