SIAM Conference on Imaging Science (IS26)
About the Conference
This is the conference of the SIAM Activity Group on Imaging Science.
The interdisciplinary field of imaging science is undergoing rapid growth. New technologies capable of imaging objects and structures across an extraordinary range of scales, from the nanoscale to the astronomical, are continually being developed and refined. These advances have significantly expanded the reach of science and medicine, often in exciting and unexpected ways. At the same time, this progress has introduced new challenges related to the formation, acquisition, compression, transmission, and analysis of images. By their nature, these challenges span multiple disciplines, including physics, engineering, mathematics, biology, medicine, statistics, and data science. While the primary focus of this conference is on mathematical issues in imaging, related biomedical, geophysical, and engineering perspectives will also play an essential role.
The following meetings will be held jointly:
SIAM Conference on Imaging Science (IS26)
SIAM Conference on Mathematics of Data Science (MDS26)
SIAM International Conference on Data Mining (SDM26)
