Students and Early Career Professionals

Apply here for a travel award before registering for the conference. If you have already applied for Conference Support, please do not register for the conference until you have received notification about the status of your award.

How to Register

Register via the online Registration Form.

The Early Registration Rate will end on September 18, 2024. The Standard Registration Rate will begin on September 19, 2024, on which date registration fees will increase.

SIAM accepts payment by American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa. All registrations must be processed using the online registration system. Payments will *not* be accepted onsite.

If you are a SIAM member, the login is the same as your member login. If you do not remember your username or password, you may request it using the link on the registration site by providing the email in your SIAM record. You must use your member login to get the member rate for the conference. If you are not a member but attended a SIAM conference or purchased a SIAM publication in the past, check for an existing account. This will allow you to register without setting up a new account. If you do not have an existing account, you can follow the link to create a new account.

If you are not a SIAM member, SIAM allows attendees who pay the non-member registration fee  to apply the difference between it and the member rate toward buying an individual membership.  Please contact service@siam.org for details.

Attendees must register themselves using their own login credentials. If you are registering individuals other than yourself, please contact service@siam.org for assistance.

Registration Confirmations

After your registration is processed, you will receive an email confirmation acknowledging your registration. If you do not receive it within two (2) days, SIAM has not processed your registration. Please contact service@siam.org or +1-215-382-9800.

Retain your order confirmation email and present it at the Registration Desk. Those registering during the Standard Registration Period will require proof of registration to collect conference materials.

Payments will not be accepted at the Registration Desk; all registrations must be processed using the online registration form.

Speaker Registration Policy and Program Changes

All speakers are required to register. Speakers are urged to register early at the lower registration rate; those who do not will be required to register at the higher Standard Registration Rate.

If it becomes necessary for a speaker to cancel a presentation, they should find an alternate presenter, preferably a co-author. A “no-show” or cancelled presentation can cause serious inconvenience to the attendees and conference organizers. Speakers should contact meetings@siam.org with presentation changes and cancellations.

SIAM is not responsible for the safety and security of attendees’ computers or personal devices. Do not leave devices unattended. Please remember to silence electronic devices during sessions.

Corporate Members and Sponsors

SIAM is pleased to acknowledge its corporate members and sponsors. In recognition of this support, non-member attendees who are employed by a Corporate Member or Sponsor organization are entitled to the SIAM member registration rate.


Cancellation Policy

Requests for refunds must be sent to meetings@siam.org, and will be issued in accordance with the following:

Cancellation on or before August 20, 2024
Full Refund

August 21, 2024 – September 18, 2024
$75 Cancellation Fee

After September 18, 2024
No Refund

A fee of $75 will be charged for changes from full registration to one-day registration between August 21, 2024 and September 18, 2024 after which no registration changes will be accepted.

There will be no pro-rated fees. Refunds will not be issued after the early registration date.
