Government Rate
Government employees are encouraged to reserve a room in the conference block at the group rate of $219+ CAD. The negotiated group rate is below the standard GSA rates.

Housing Scam Alert

SIAM does not share or distribute personal, registration or housing details with any company or person. Third-party solicitation of hotel reservations is not approved by SIAM, and any claim SIAM has provided attendee contact information for solicitation is fraudulent. Reservations offered by unaffiliated organizations may promise lower rates; however, they may be illegitimate, nonexistent, non-refundable, or have unreasonable cancellation or change penalties. If you book your hotel with a third-party provider, SIAM cannot assist you with any problems incurred as a result of booking outside the official SIAM room block. Please be aware of any unauthorized solicitations and report them to meetings@siam.org.

Due to local events in and around the city, availability is limited. It is strongly encouraged to book early. SIAM is holding a block of rooms at the Le Nouvel Hotel at the discounted rates listed above. The rooms are held on a first-come, first-served basis, and the block is anticipated to fill quickly.
Please make your hotel and travel plans as early as possible by the deadline of Friday, April 10. 

Reservations

The discounted rates are guaranteed until 5:00 p.m. Eastern time on Friday, April 10, 2026 or until the room block is full. If rooms are available after this date, they will be offered at the best available rate.

Room rates include complimentary internet access.
All rooms based on availability.
All rates are subject to state and local occupancy taxes.

If you find a lower room rate, make a reservation at this rate and notify SIAM's Conferences Department immediately. This will ensure you receive the lower rate and be counted towards the SIAM room block. However, please be aware if booking outside the SIAM room block, you may not receive the same benefits (i.e. complimentary internet access).

In the “Hotel Reservation” section above, click “Reserve Now” under the appropriate room rate to make your reservation online in SIAM’s room block. Use this online reservation link to receive the discounted group rate, as reservations made using the hotel’s general reservation website will not reflect this discount.

Reservations are not confirmed until acknowledged by the hotel or verified by phone. Collect a confirmation number and be prepared to provide upon check-in.

Cancellations

If it becomes necessary to change or cancel your reservation, contact the hotel by twenty-four hours prior to arrival to avoid a cancellation fee. Follow the instructions in your email confirmation, or contact the hotel at the phone number above. Remember to collect a cancellation number!

Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is 11:00 a.m.

Early Departure

The hotel may charge a fee if checking out prior to the original checkout date. Attendees are responsible for informing the hotel of reservation changes as soon as possible, and confirming details upon check-in.

Deposit

The hotel requires a credit card to confirm and guarantee reservations. E-mail confirmations will be sent upon request.

A deposit of the first night’s room rate plus applicable tax may be charged at the time reservation is made.

Attendees should fly into Montreal Trudeau International Airport making reservations directly with their preferred airline, travel agency or travel website.

Ground Transportation

Public Transportation from Airport

Taxis are available for transportation to the hotel or university. Please visit the Le Nouvel Hotel website and click on “Maps” to find local directions or Concordia University website. Additional ground transportation information is available on the Montreal Trudeau International Airport. 

Rental Cars

Many major car rental companies have offices inside the airport terminal. You can make your arrangements when you arrive at the airport, or you can make them through your own travel agency or travel website.

Driving Directions

When using a GPS system for directions, SIAM highly recommends you contact the hotel directly or visit their website for driving directions. In many cases, the street address of the building and the address required for the GPS are different.
