Southwest Section of SIAM
The Southwest Section of SIAM services members in the U.S. Southwest region, specifically Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico.
Section Purpose
Formed in 2025, the Southwest Section of SIAM was established to foster stronger connections between these institutions, create opportunities for collaboration, student development, and broaden the impact of SIAM across the Southwest.
Activities
The Southwest Section of SIAM will organize informal gatherings at host institutions across the region and a yearly meeting that rotates among member states. These meetings may include short talks, student presentations, research symposia, networking activities, and professional development sessions.
