Representing Your Chapter

Each student chapter is entitled to send one representative to SIAM's Student Days (held at SIAM's Annual Meetings) and this representative will be eligible to receive up to $500 in travel support for chapters in North America and $700 for chapters outside of North America. The chapter officers will be contacted when the selection of a representative is due.

SIAM will select 12 chapters whose representative will be provided a speaking slot in the Student Chapter Session at the meeting and an additional 12 chapters whose representative will be provided a Student Chapter Poster Session slot. These chapters will be notified in advance.

Expenses

Expenses for Chapter representatives will be refunded after the completion of the meeting. Please allow 8-12 weeks for checks and wire transfers to be issued. Please see the guidelines and expense form below.
