Announcing SIAM’s Upcoming Job Search Preparation Webinar

The webinar has been rescheduled to take place on Thursday, February 26.

We are delighted to announce that the SIAM Career Opportunities Committee will host a job search preparation webinar on Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 4-5 p.m. ET (1-2 p.m. PT). This webinar was originally scheduled to take place on February 12 but had to be postponed. For those unable to attend the live session, a recording of last year's resume-writing webinar is available on SIAM’s YouTube channel.

Whether you are looking for a job in academia, industry, government, or the nonprofit sector, this webinar will provide insights and suggestions on how to craft resumes and CVs that will attract the attention of potential employers — for the right reasons. The webinar will also cover strategies for tailoring your interview preparation for the specific employment area and role that you seek. Several Career Opportunities Committee members will be available to answer questions.

Participation in the live webinar is restricted to SIAM members. We particularly encourage students who plan to take part in upcoming SIAM career fairs—including the Spring 2026 Virtual Career Fair on Wednesday, April 8, 2026—to attend.
