Announcing the New SIAM Engage Community on Science Policy
We are excited to announce the launch of the new Science Policy Engage Community. This new community space is designed for members who are interested in the intersections of U.S. federal research policy and mathematics and want to stay informed about issues affecting the applied mathematics and computational science community.
SIAM is committed to elevating the voice of our field in national conversations by advocating for research funding, supporting evidence-based policymaking, and highlighting the essential role of mathematical sciences across society. You can learn more about SIAM's science policy efforts here. The new Engage community extends this work by giving members a centralized place to follow policy updates, explore opportunities to participate in advocacy, and connect with others who share similar interests.
Members can expect posts focused on U.S. federal research policy, announcements, calls to action, and resources related to SIAM's ongoing policy priorities. The community encourages thoughtful and respectful discussion, and all posts are reviewed to help ensure conversations remain constructive and aligned with group guidelines.
If you are interested in SIAM's science policy initiatives or simply want to stay informed, we invite you to join the new group on SIAM Engage and be part of the conversation.
Please contact ceo_office@siam.org if you have any questions.
