Call for Papers: SIAM Journal on Life Sciences
SIAM Journal on Life Sciences (SIALS) is currently seeking submissions for its inaugural issue.

SIALS will publish work that substantively uses quantitative methods—including modeling, computing, and mathematical analysis—in the study of biological systems and associated applications. SIALS seeks to attract readership and submissions from a broad community of researchers across many fields and industries who are interested in bringing an advanced mathematical lens to the study of life sciences. Check out the journal homepage on the SIAM Publications Library.
Topics of interest include but are not limited to:
• Biofluids, biomaterials, & biomechanics
• Biological networks
• Biophysics
• Cellular & molecular biology
• Ecology & epidemiology
• Evolution & population genetics
• Gene networks & bioinformatics
• Macroscopic pattern formation & swarming
• Neuronal dynamics
• Physiology & pathophysiology
• Pharmacokinetics
• Synthetic biology
All interested authors should submit a manuscript and cover letter in PDF format via the SIALS online submission site. Authors should review the instructions for authors and editorial policy before submitting. Questions can be directed to Heather Blythe, SIAM Publications Manager. Questions about content suitability can be directed to Jon Rubin, Editor-in-Chief.
