Registration Open for 2026 Joint Mathematics Meetings Hill Day
Are you attending the 2026 Joint Mathematics Meetings (JMM) this January in Washington, D.C.? Stay an extra day and join SIAM and other mathematical sciences societies as we protect research funding in the U.S. and promote the importance of mathematics and computational science! During the JMM Mathematical Sciences on Capitol Hill Day, we will be organizing visits for groups of participants to meet with their congressional delegations and discuss critical agencies, AI and emerging technologies, education and workforce issues, and the mathematical sciences' role in enabling innovation in key sectors like health, energy, and national security. Together, we'll highlight how federal policies impact our community and the broader STEM ecosystem. No experience is necessary and the potential to make a powerful impact is big! We'll provide you with the resources you need such as training, background materials, handouts, and talking points.
The JMM Hill Day is happening January 8, 2026; all JMM attendees are invited to participate. Register now. You must sign up by November 10, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. We would love to see a strong showing from the SIAM community!
