Tyler Fara is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Mathematics at Oregon State University. He holds an M.S. in biomedical science from Colorado State University and an M.S. in mathematics from Oregon State University. Fara’s research interests include the analysis and numerical approximation of coupled partial and ordinary differential equation systems and multiscale problems, with applications to hypothermia and frostbite during extreme cold exposure.
