Veselin Dobrev is a computational mathematician in the Center for Applied Scientific Computing at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. His research interests include numerical methods for partial differential equation discretization, finite element methods, arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian methods, preconditioning, adaptive meshing and remap, high-performance computing, and scientific visualization. He is a co-founder and developer of the MFEM library.
