Volker Schulz

Volker Schulz is a professor and head of the Research Group on PDE-Constrained Optimization at Trier University. He also leads the DFG Research Training Group 2126 on Algorithmic Optimization. Schulz currently serves as a section editor for SIAM Review and was previously an associate editor for the SIAM Journal on Scientific Computing. His research interests focus on numerical methods for PDE-constrained shape optimization, optimal control, inverse problems, and optimization in data science.
